THE INTENSIVE AGENDA:
Just as a head up: this is a real WORKshop INTENSive.
Come prepared with a notebook and something to write with, and occasionally throughout the intensive you’ll need to have a few additional tabs open on your laptop, tablet or phone.
At this time, this intensive is only being offered live. There is no recording or replay of the live session.
BEFORE THE INTENSIVE:
Immediately upon registering, you will have access to an on-demand course. (Course materials will be available by EOD Wednesday, October 16th). You should review the course materials PRIOR to the intensive. The day of the intensive will be focused solely on EXECUTION and IMPLEMENTATION. There won’t be any live teaching. Everything that you need to learn to be able to take action during the intensive will be loaded into your dashboard and you need to watch it PRIOR to attending the live sessions.
DAY OF THE INTENSIVE:
The intensive is divided into 3 sessions with breaks in between. We will complete one phase per session during the live intensive.
SESSION ONE:
CREATE YOUR COOKING CLASSES.
In the first session you will be creating your classes. You will write 3 full classes, complete with titles, descriptions, menus, and class outlines. You will leave the intensive with 3 complete classes so that you can have more than one class to sell and so that you know exactly what you will be teaching. You will also learn my formula for writing classes.
SESSION TWO:
SET UP YOUR COOKING SCHOOL SYSTEMS.
In the second session you will set up your cooking school business systems. This is the session where you will price your classes, establish your class policies, set up your tech and administrative systems. You will leave the intensive with your backend systems completely set up so that all you have to focus on is teaching and getting clients.
SESSION THREE:
MISE EN PLACE YOUR MARKETING.
In the third session, you will map out you 5-part marketing plan. You will leave the intensive with a launch plan (for first-timers) and an on-going marketing plan that you can uses over and over again, so that you have a process in place to consistently bring in new students to your cooking school.

And I’ve been teaching recreational cooking classes since 2010.

How is the intensive different than the bootcamp?
The bootcamp is where you want to start if you a new to cooking classes and are at the beginning stages of PLANNING your cooking class business. The bootcamp is designed for you to weigh all of your options, set your personal and financial goals for cooking classes and give you clarity on what kind of cooking class business you want to have moving forward.
The intensive is for you, when you are already familiar with cooking classes, even if just a little, and you are ready to actively BUILD your cooking class business.
Bootcamp is for planning and creating a business plan. Intensive is for building and launching your first or next class.
Will the intensive be recorded?
The live session portion of the intensive will NOT be recorded or available for replay. However, you will still have access to the course materials for 90-day after you enroll.
Will this intensive show me how to teach cooking classes?
This intensive will not aid you in the art of instruction, however, you will be creating class outlines, to give you a roadmap on how to properly conduct a class.
What happens if I can’t attend the live session?
If you can not attend the full session, you can either register for the intensive at a later date or you can go though the intensive as a self-paced experience.
